The Bank of Things is a new Young Mayors Project, working in partnership with Lewisham Local, aimed at young people aged 11 to 25 living in Lewisham. This new charitable initiative will combat the issue of poverty and lack of resources for young people in the borough. At the bank, young people can drop in and collect everyday personal care items and school equipment.
If you are struggling to afford everyday essentials you can come and collect a pack, which includes deodorant, face wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, toothpaste, a toothbrush and sanitary products.
The bank is also looking for donations and dedicated volunteers to help run the service. If you'd like to get involved, find out more on the Lewisham Local website.
